She revealed that she turned down the role due to not receiving the £1 million salary she requested. Reflecting on her decision, Margolyes admitted, 'Really it’s a story about my own greed rather than anything else.' This isn't the first TV opportunity she has turned down, as she previously declined an offer to appear on the reality series 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!' due to her personal standards.
