Country star Miranda Lambert recently welcomed a new addition to her family - a horse named Cool. Lambert described Cool as one of the sweetest horses she has ever met, highlighting his grace and patience. She shared on Instagram that she has taken up the hobby of mounted shooting in the last few months and has already learned a lot from Cool.
Lambert explained that Cool came into her life at a time when she needed a challenge and wanted to try something new. Turning 40 in November, she expressed her readiness for a decade of personal and professional growth, with Cool marking the perfect beginning of that journey.
Lambert credited horsewoman Kenda Lenseigne for helping her find the ideal horse, describing the match as made in cowgirl heaven. She expressed gratitude to Mark and Karen Plumlee for entrusting her with Cool for his future adventures.
In February, Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, traveled to Arizona for lessons with Lenseigne. Despite McLoughlin not being a rider initially, Lambert praised his quick learning and their shared experience of celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on horseback.
Lambert and McLoughlin secretly married in February 2019, with Lambert referring to him as the love of her life. She appreciates McLoughlin for being a truth-teller in her life, valuing his honest and straightforward nature.
It's evident that Lambert's new equine companion, Cool, has brought joy and new experiences into her life, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter for the country star.
