A single mum has praised a Leeds charity for helping look after her "miracle baby" after she underwent open heart surgery at just three weeks old.

Fran Simpson even prepared for her baby girl to go into a hospice, such were the low odds of survival.

But Savannah Simpson-Grant is now approaching her second birthday thanks to the "wonderful" work of Leeds Children's Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF).
