Mira Sorvino has paid tribute to "the most wonderful father" Paul Sorvino following his death at the age of 83.
The actor, best known for starring in Goodfellas, died on Monday morning, his wife Dee Dee confirmed. She is believed to have been by his side when he died of natural causes.
He starred in nearly 50 films in his five-decade long acting career but is famed for his role as mobster Paul Cicero in Martin Scorcese's 1990 masterpiece Goodfellas.
