During his visit to Racine Barbar Sports Co., a barber shop and business collective, Governor Walz engaged in a conversation with local Black entrepreneurs and community leaders. The discussions centered around the entrepreneurs' ventures and backgrounds, providing Governor Walz with valuable insights into their experiences.
At the start of the roundtable discussion, Governor Walz highlighted Vice President Kamala Harris' agenda aimed at creating economic opportunities for Black men. He emphasized the importance of providing the necessary tools and resources to empower individuals to achieve their desired levels of success. Governor Walz also acknowledged the significance of the business community giving back and fostering growth, underscoring the critical role of community support in driving economic empowerment.
