Ministers to be given more power crackdown on ‘disruptive’ protests

Ministers will be given powers to apply for injunctions for protests that cause “serious disruption” as part of plans being brought forward by Suella Braverman.

The Home Secretary has unveiled plans for a major crackdown on the kinds of protests favoured by groups such as Just Stop Oil who have so far staged 15 days of civil unrest across London this month.
