MINIMUM unit pricing (MUP) has been effective in reducing alcohol consumption in Scotland in the three years since it was implemented, according to a report.
The latest data showing the impact of minimum unit pricing was published in a report on Tuesday 15NOV by Public Health Scotland, showing a 3% net reduction in alcohol sales per adult in the three years following the implementation of the policy.
