Two care homes in Nottingham had a royal visit from 'The Queen' Isla Bates, aged three, to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. Residents at The Grand Care Centre in West Bridgford and Ruddington Manor Care Centre in Wilford were delighted with the visit.
Isla, who dresses up as The Queen, visited the care homes to plant a tree after walking the red carpet and mingling with residents. She also showcased her exceptional royal wave at the 82-bed facilities.
At Ruddington Manor, the residents gathered outside to watch the 'mini queen' arrive before she planted a tree. Sergeant Sean Mooney from the RAF Waddington and Isla's grandfather Andrew Fairhurst, veteran of the Queen's Lancashire Regiment, accompanied the little girl on her royal visit.
