A package of mini donuts sold in stores across the country and on Amazon has been pulled from the market after someone had an allergic reaction to milk that was never listed on the label. The Better Bakehouse Snack Company, based in Las Vegas, announced the recall of certain lots of Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts, and the Food and Drug Administration posted the company announcement this week.
The person who reacted has fully recovered. That is the good news in an otherwise ordinary-looking recall, and it does not lower the stakes for the households that still have these boxes in a pantry or a lunch bag.
