"Minecraft" has a ton of content for players to do, and one of the more expansive parts of the game is its enchantment system.

One of the more notable enchantments in "Minecraft" is Silk Touch, which allows your character to pick up blocks that otherwise cannot be obtained. There are several ways to get a Silk Touch enchantment for you to use in your own playthrough.

This guide will help players learn how to get this amazing enchantment in "Minecraft" and which methods are the most efficient. Look through the ways mentioned here and see which ones you are comfortable doing.

Use an Enchanting Table

The first method of getting the Silk Touch enchantment is by using the Enchanting Table, which is the main way of getting any sort of enchantment in "Minecraft."

You also need to increase the level of offered enchantments by placing 15 bookshelves around the table itself, according to Sportskeeda.

The next thing you need to get the Silk Touch enchantment is placing a tool, such as a Pickaxe and lapis lazuli, in the Enchanting Table. You get three possibilities for enchantments, and one of these could be the one you are looking for.

If you see that none of the options give your tool the Silk Touch enchantment, you can disenchant it and try again, given you have enough materials. The main drawback of this method is its unreliability and the need for many resources and time.

Trade With a Librarian

Another method of getting the Silk Touch enchantment is by trading with a Librarian when they have the enchantment available.

To get a Librarian, you need a villager with the appropriate job. If there are no available villagers for this, you can find a jobless villager and then put a lectern nearby, Game Rant said.

Once you have access to a Librarian, you need to open the trade menu with them and see if they are offering the Silk Touch enchantment. If you don't see it, you can reset their trades by turning them back into a jobless villager and doing the process all over again.

Finding Enchanted Tools

This is arguably the worst method of getting the Silk Touch enchantment, but you can sometimes get lucky with your drops. You can loot structures and get a tool that already has the enchantment you are looking for.

Despite this method's straightforward nature, it is very random, which means that you can either get it on your first drop or your 1,000th drop. One of the best places to do this method is in an End City, according to Beebom.
