Min urges council to revise schedule of HS examination

BHUBANESWAR: Following resentment among students over inadequate number of days’ gap between two papers in the annual Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2022, school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Das has asked the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) to revise the examination schedule for science stream.

“We received several complaints from students. They requested the exam schedule to be revised. The council has been asked to see the possibilities of making changes in the timetable so that students get enough time between two papers,” said Das.

Sources said, students expressed resentment over only one day’s gap before mathematics paper. “Taking all aspects into consideration, the council has been asked to revise the schedule,” Das added.
