It is anticipated that the absentee ballot count will be completed in the early hours after midnight, with a more precise timeline expected to be available later in the day.
Milwaukee Mayor highlighted the challenges posed by the lack of pre-processing of absentee ballots in Wisconsin before Election Day, as a bill to allow this was blocked in the state legislature.
