Milton's Hurricane Brings Torrential Rain And Dangerous Winds To Tampa

The Tampa Bay Area is currently experiencing the wrath of Hurricane Milton, with torrential rainfall and extremely dangerous winds causing havoc in the region. According to data from NOAA, the hurricane has already dumped more than 3 inches of rain in the past three hours in certain parts of the area.

One airport in St. Petersburg has reported a staggering 3.49 inches of rain since 4 p.m. ET, highlighting the intensity of the storm and the potential for widespread flooding in low-lying areas.
