Millions of households across the UK should expect to receive an extra £300 from the start of November.
The cash boost will be given alongside the second half of the DWP's £650 Cost of Living Payment. Struggling households can also expect to receive money off their energy bills this month as part of a £400 government scheme.
The Winter Fuel Payment is given to select pensioners in the UK who may be eligible to receive anywhere between £100 to £300 from the start of November. However, not all pensioners are automatically eligible for the payment as they must meet set criteria.
