Cheaper internet will be available to millions of people across the UK as a new system is launched.
Next week, a simple and easy system will be put in place meaning UK internet consumers can access cheaper broadband. Currently, Britain's biggest Internet Service Providers (ISPs) provide discounts for families claiming benefits, but many people aren't aware of this.
Data shows that just 1.2% of people eligible have applied for ISPs deals. Part of this is due to entitlement confusion as well as the hassle of proving that benefits are being claimed, reports ChronicleLive.
