Actress Millie Gibson looks completely different from her Coronation Street days as she celebrated her birthday this weekend. The former Corrie star, who played Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap up until last November, shared a series of pictures to mark her 19th birthday.
Last year it was revealed the actress would be leaving to cobbles to join the cast of Doctor Who as the new companion Ruby Sunday. Millie will star in the upcoming series of the BBC's Sc-Fi show alongside the 15th Doctor, played by Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa, which the pair have already begun filming for.
Speaking of her new role at the time of the announcement, Millie said: "Whilst still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion. It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots of the fellow companions have travelled in before me."

Ahead of the three hour-long specials airing later this year, the 19-year-old has shared some updated snaps with her followers where she stunned in a glamorous dress.
The former Kelly Neelan actress looked worlds away from her character on the cobbles as she donned a mini red dress with a matching red lip.
As she appeared to be wined and dined, Millie shared a series of photos with her 208,000 Instagram followers alongside the caption: "Birthday weekending."
Reacting to the post, one fan wrote: "WOW that must have turned a few heads, you in that red dress," as another said: "19 never looked so good."
Her former Corrie co-star and friend Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, commented: "Make sure to give me some of that cake ;))."
Coronation Street's Tina O’Brien also wrote: "Happy birthday. gorgeous lady inside and out."
