Millie Bobby Brown reveals gender of second child as Stranger Things star shares heartwarming family photo

Millie Bobby Brown has given fans a first glimpse at her new baby boy with a heartwarming family photo.

On Friday, September 18, the Stranger Things actor shared a sweet picture of her and her husband Jake Bongiovi holding the hand of their second child.

“Hi little guy”, she wrote as she shared the image to her 70 million Instagram followers. She was wearing a diamond ring bearing the word “Mom”.

Brown, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, adopted their first child, a daughter, last year.

Announcing the adoption in August 2025, Brown and Bongiovi wrote: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.

“We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

Brown recently hinted that their family had expanded during a recent trip to Italy.

The 22-year-old shared a video which showed her holding her daughter whilst they strolled in the Dolomites, whilst Bongiovi could be seen with a baby strapped to his chest.

The couple, who married in 2024, have vigorously protected their daughter’s privacy, opting not to share photos of her face or disclose her name.

“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” Brown, who herself has been in the public eye since the age of 10, told British Vogue last year.

“It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly.”

"If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support,” she added, though said her role as a parent is to protect her from the limelight.

The star has previously shared that she has always wanted to adopt a child, and that she has never regarded adoption as any different from having a biological child.

“I don’t see having your own child as any different [to] adopting,” she told the SmartLess podcast last year.

Aside from her star-making role as Eleven in Stranger Things, Brown has also appeared in 2024 fantasy film Damsel, 2025’s sci-fi action film The Electric State alongside Chris Pratt, and as the title character in Netflix’s Enola Holmes.
