Millie Bobby Brown, 18, has 'terms and conditions' in relationship with Henry Cavill, 39

Millie Bobby Brown has spilled the beans on what she describes as her ‘adult relationship’ with co-star Henry Cavill.

The Stranger Things actress stars alongside Henry in the Enola Holmes films, the second of which is released on Netflix today (November 4).

But the teenager – who is still only 18 – says she had to get used to having ‘stricter boundaries’ in her friendship with Henry, who at 39 is almost 20 years older.

This is in stark comparison to her Stranger Things co-stars, who she grew up with as they all met when they were children.

She revealed she is not allowed to ask questions about his personal life and said Henry had put ‘terms and conditions’ on their friendship.

In an interview with Deadline Millie said: “With Henry it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one. One that we have terms and conditions.

“I know Henry. He has terms and conditions. I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, ‘Millie, shut up. No.’ And I’m like, ‘Understood.’

“Whereas with the Stranger Things kids, it’s different. There’s no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings. But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”

Millie went on to describe her friend and co-star as a ‘very rational man’, while saying she is ‘a bit manic’ in comparison.

When filming the Enola Holmes movies - where Henry plays her older brother, Sherlock Holmes – she revealed she drew on her relationship with him offscreen.

This is because in real life Henry doesn’t have any sisters, while Millie has a sister, brother and an older brother.

She shared she implemented a lot of what she is used to in her own family dynamic into the part she plays with Henry – and admitted pulling him out of his comfort zone.
