MillerKnoll (MLKN) is going on the offensive as the fallout from the viral video of CEO and president Andi Owen talking about company bonuses continues to spread on social media.
Employees have been threatened with termination for speaking to media about Owen's monologue, The Holland Sentinel reported, citing an anonymous employee.

"We have a meeting at the beginning of every shift," the employee told The Sentinel. "Last night the comments were brought up in the meeting and they said if anybody spoke out it wouldn't be good for them and they could be terminated."
A MillerKnoll spokesperson told the paper that the employee's information was false, saying that "nobody has been directed to do that" while adding that "it's not a company policy, it's not something that we're doing."
The trouble started for the office furniture maker after a video clip leaked showing Owen ending a 75-minute town hall addressing employee bonuses rather harshly.
Owen took home compensation of $4.98 million in 2022, according to the company's proxy statement, compared to an average median employee compensation of $44,810 for the company's 7,696 employees.
Despite the rumors of her bonus package being in the millions, MillerKnoll's fiscal year has not yet ended and bonus decisions haven't been decided for the company, Owen included, according to Vice.
She did receive bonuses of $1.29 million and $1.12 million over the past two years, however.
“Andi fiercely believes in this team and all we can accomplish together, and will not be dissuaded by a 90-second clip taken out of context and posted on social media,” a MillerKnoll spokesperson told Motherboard.
