Residents saw a huge military aeroplane flying above Leeds today and those living in the flight path have remarked on how "unusual" it was.
The Royal Air Force (RAF)-registered Boeing C-17A Globemaster III swooped over the city several times at about 1.30pm.
Resident spotted the enormous aircraft and were baffled by the sight of it.

Paula Lynn, who snapped the Globemaster and lives below the flight path of Leeds Bradford Airport, said it was "unusual" to see a military aeroplane.
Paula said: "It flew over following the usual flight path but was very loud, I was in my back garden so not sure about anyone else, but have put it on Facebook also for comments.
"I live on the flight path to Leeds Bradford Airport and I’m used to seeing them and love to watch them but it’s unusual to see military aircraft flying over."
A spokesperson for the RAF said: "A RAF C-17 Globemaster from RAF Brize Norton was completing routine training at Leeds Bradford airport today.
"The RAF routinely use a variety of civilian airports all over the UK for training as they provide complex airspace and differing approach challenges for our pilots."

The Boeing C-17A Globemaster III is a huge military transport aircraft and is used by the RAF, initially made for the US Air Force.
The aircraft commonly performs tactical and strategic missions, transporting troops and cargo throughout the world.
It also providing medical evacuation and airdrop duties.
