Swalwell, who is running for Governor of California right now, made these comments while talking about a big controversy around a recent video released by Democratic lawmakers.
According to Fox News, this whole situation started when six Democratic lawmakers released a video aimed at service members and intelligence officers. That group included Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, a retired Navy captain, who appeared with others like Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Rep. Jason Crow. Their message was pretty clear: “Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders.”
