Miley Cyrus "nearly died" after her private jet was struck by lightning on Tuesday.
The singer and her pals were given the fright of their lives after their plane was forced to take an emergency landing.
But the Wrecking Ball hitmaker's sister Brandi, who was on board during the strike, knocked back a glass of champagne when they touched the ground.
"I'm going to try to not be dramatic but we almost died," she said before adding: "Bottoms up!"
Her friend Val Pina added: "Literally almost died.
"We just landed in I don't even know where, 200 miles away from where we're supposed to land and because lightning struck the plane so bottoms up!," Brandi added.
"Cheers," Val said, before clinking glasses.
The 29-year-old was travelling from Bogota, Colombia to the Paraguayan capital city of Asunción.
She had been heading there to play at Asunciónico festival, but had to cancel due to the incident.
Miley told followers about the airborne fright: "To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting (sic).
“My crew , band , friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing,”
"We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay. I LOVE YOU.”
Fans were understanding and sent well wishes to the singer.
"We’re happy you’re safe Miley. I hope fans from Paraguay can understand and hope to see you another time," one wrote.
"We are so happy that you, your family and team are okay. I can’t imagine how scary was going through a flight like this," another added.
She shared a snap of the damage to the plane caused by the bolt and a clip of the lighting storm.
In Brandi's Instagram video, she showed off the interior of the jet, which was fitted with beige leather seats and buckets of leg room.
The aircraft can fly at a maximum speed of 674.4 miles per hour and a cruise speed of 547.7 miles per hour.
Miley performed at Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Chile last weekend and wore an electric blue catsuit.
