Miley Cyrus left her fans overcome with emotion as she paid a beautiful tribute to Taylor Hawkins.
The singer took to the stage in Brazil on Saturday night for the headline slot at Lollapalooza, where Foo Fighters had been due to perform on Sunday.
But after drummer Taylor was was tragically found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia yesterday, Miley vowed to make sure he was still part of the event.
The former Hannah Montana star shared picture of Taylor sitting behind his drums with a huge smile on his face to her Instagram story and wrote: "This is how I'll always remember you...
"My show tomorrow is dedicated to Taylor Hawkins"
At her show tonight, Miley sat on stage singing her track Angels Like You in front of a giant backdrop of the same image of Taylor, in a video captured by her sister Brandi.
"Angels like you for my angel," she wrote, tagging the late star's account.
Foo Fighters cancelled their tour after the sudden death of their drummer.
They were in Bogota for Festival Estéreo Picnic and were then scheduled to head to Lollapalooza.
Announcing the shocking news of Taylor's death, a post on the band's official Twitter page read: "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins.
"His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live with us forever.
"Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time."
Colombian officials have said Taylor had traces of 10 different drugs in his body when he died.
In a statement issued following an initial autopsy, Colombia's state prosecution service confirmed that 10 types of substances, including marihuana and tricyclic antidepressants, had been found in toxicology tests.
They added that further studies needed to be done to clarify the facts in his death.
He's believed to have suffered a heart attack, according to health chiefs in Bogota, which is likely to have been due to an overdose.
