Arsenal have been handed a timely reminder to secure William Saliba's future at the club amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain. The 21-year-old has enjoyed a great start to the season for the Gunners, guiding Mikel Arteta's side to top of the Premier League.
The defender, who sees his current deal at the Emirates Stadium expire in 2023, has featured 14 times for the north Londoners so far this season, helping Arsenal keep seven clean sheets. His impressive displays have attracted the attention of numerous top European sides and sporting director Edu could have his work cut out fending off interest.
According to French outlet Sport.fr, as per CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs, PSG want to sign Saliba and the France international is believed to be 'very interested in the Parisian project'. This come as a major blow for Arsenal, who are said to currently be in talks with the defender over a new deal.

The Athletic report that an official - new and improved - offer from the Gunners to Saliba has been made but it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will follow in the footsteps of centre-back partner Gabriel Magalhaes and commit his future to the club. The report outlines that there is no agreement between either party as of yet and talks are ongoing.
Arsenal look to be doing everything in their power to hold on to the youngster's services. In October, Saliba confirmed that discussions over a new contract were underway.
Speaking to the Evening Standard after the recent north London derby win over Tottenham, he said: "Yeah, we will see. They [Arsenal and my agent] talk a little bit.
"[When I spoke with Arteta in the summer], he talked about my last season and he explained the project for this season. You have to wait every time and I wait a long time for my first north London derby.
"I enjoyed it since the first minute to the end, and now I am so happy. We are so happy to win at home against Tottenham. It was a hard game, but we were focused all the game. We deserve this win."
Prior to this, Saliba dropped a huge hint on his future in in September. Speaking to Sky Sports, he admitted that London is his 'home' and that he 'likes' Arsenal.
"Yes, for sure," the defender said, when asked if he feels at home. "I'm at home here. I like London, I like the club, I like everything. I feel at home here."
Arsenal fans all across the world will be hoping Saliba extends his future at the club after having such a huge impact on the side's defensive record. For now, Gunners' fans can sit back and watch the defender ply his trade for France in Qatar at the World Cup, with Didier Deschamps' side playing their opening Group D game against Australia on Tuesday.
