Arsenal play against Newcastle on Monday evening in what is a crucial match for Arsenal’s Champions League hopes. The match also could have a major impact on Edu’s transfer dealings in the summer.
A win for the Gunners will see them leapfrog Spurs in the table with one game remaining, which puts Arsenal in the perfect position to secure a Champions League place. Mikel Arteta’s side will play Everton in the final game of the season knowing a victory will be enough to return to Europe’s elite competition.
The Gunners have been heavily linked to players such as Youri Tielemans and Gabriel Jesus. However, both players have reportedly demanded Champions League football at the next club they move to, so if Arsenal beat Newcastle that will provide as a major boost to their transfer hopes in the summer.
