Mikel Arteta's Arsenal resurgence makes Premier League title dream a reality

There'll be some Arsenal fans waking up at Christmas this year rubbing their eyes but it's true, the Gunners will be 5 points clear until at least Boxing Day this winter.

That of course is partly due to the unheard-of winter break for the World Cup in Qatar, but nothing can be taken away from the Gunners' scintillating start in the league. With twelve wins from fourteen games, the north Londoners have made their best-ever start to a Premier League season and dreams of going all the way are starting to manifest more and more throughout a revitalised fan base.

Sitting five points clear of everyone's favourite before the season Manchester City, it presents a unique and completely unexpected opportunity for Mikel Arteta's men to mount a genuine title challenge. So far they have cleared every hurdle in front of them, bar an arguably undeserved defeat at Manchester United, and more and more pundits and fans alike are beginning to think they are the real deal.
