Arsenal are planning a major summer spending spree, with owner Stan Kroenke set to show his faith in head coach Mikel Arteta, according to recent reports.
The Gunners had a relatively quiet January window, trimming their squad of a number of fringe players whilst making one signing, American centre-half Auston Trusty.
Trusty will spend the remainder of the season on loan with MLS side Colorado Rapids before joining up with the rest of the north Londoners' squad this summer.
Now, The Sun have reported that Kroenke is willing to hand £180million to sign three Arteta targets, in the form of Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak and Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The piece claims that the trio have all been identified as young, talented players that the club have targeted to take Arsenal to the next level, with Neves reportedly worth around £45million, Calvert-Lewin £60million and Sociedad setting Isak's release clause at £75million.
Both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette's contracts at the Emirates Stadium are set to expire at the end of the current campaign, leaving Arteta with Folarin Balogun, who is currently on loan at Middlesbrough, as his only senior centre-forward.
That may mean technical director Edu could be tasked with signing two frontmen this summer and Isak has recently admitted he is unsure whether or not he will still be at the Reale Arena next season.
When asked about the Gunners' interest in him, the Swedish international told Mundo Deportivo: "I am not talking about other clubs.
"I am a Real player, I work here and this is my club. My work is on the pitch, and as I told you before, there are other people who work outside."
Asked if he will stay at the La Liga outfit, he replied: "You can never be sure of anything.
"As I always say, you never know what can happen in football but in the end I’m here, happy, and nothing more."
Meanwhile, both Calvert-Lewin and Neves have also been heavily linked with a move to north London and the latter would be a huge upgrade on some of the club's midfield options, with Mohamed Elneny also set to leave Arsenal once his contract expires at the end of June.
