Leandro Trossard has been a brilliant addition to Mikel Arteta's squad since signing for Arsenal in the January transfer window. The Belgian forward has already registered eight goal contributions in just 13 appearances for the Gunners following his £27million move from Brighton.
Arsenal had originally prioritised a move for Mykhailo Mudryk in January before Chelsea hijacked the deal and signed the Ukrainian winger ahead of the Premier League leaders. This forced the Gunners' to turn their attention and secure a move for Trossard for a much cheaper fee than what they were willing to pay for Mudryk.
Trossard has proven to be the better signing out of the two players as the Belgium international continues to shine at the Emirates Stadium. The 27-year-old grabbed yet another assist in the 4-1 win against Leeds on Saturday afternoon as Arsenal maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the table.
