Arsenal could see their summer transfer window spending eclipse £200million if moves for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are sealed. The Gunners have already forked out £65million to acquire the services of Kai Havertz from Chelsea with Rice and Timber looking likely to join him as summer additions at Emirates Stadium.
More negotiations for both transfers have taken place this weekend with positive talks indicating that both could be finalised and announced by next week, according to multiple reports. Rice's £105million move could come first though, as the Mirror are reporting that it could be completed in the next 24-48 hours with West Ham's haggling over the timing of instalments appearing as the only stumbling block in the deal.
