Mikel Arteta is confident that Arsenal will have no problem convincing Declan Rice to join them in the upcoming transfer window.
The Gunners boss is set for another summer of spending after steering the Londoners to an unexpected second placed finish in the Premier League. And although Arsenal eventually came up short in the title race against Manchester City, the club are in a strong position financially after qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in six years.
Rice is believed to be Arsenal's top summer transfer target, even though West Ham have slapped a £100million valuation on their talisman. Furthermore, Mirror Football understands that the midfielder favours a move to the Emirates Stadium despite rival interest from the likes of Manchester United.
Ahead of Arsenal's season finale against Wolves on Sunday, Arteta explained how the club's clear vision and identity can help entice any potential targets to join his ambitious project.
When he was asked to detail the Gunners' transfer approach, the Spaniard said: "By explaining who we are, how we do things, what we want from them, how we think they are going to fit in in our culture, in our club, and then trying to do the right thing as a club.
"Buying the right profile for the right amount of money that is going to fit what we are going to do, and in the end players and staff are going to make our car faster and more reliable to have a great season."

Arteta went on to outline how vital it is for Arsenal to "nail" their summer transfer business to avoid falling away from the title picture next season. He added: "We have to nail everything that we do and we have to seek excellence in everything that we touch and participate in [so] that it’s going to have a big impact at the club.
"Obviously I think the competition is going to be even harder next season than this season – that in my opinion has been the hardest in the 22 years that I’ve been in this league.
"In order to do that, we have a really promising plan. We may need to reflect a little bit, take a step back, make sure that this is the right one and go again with more determination and hunger in the tummies to do even better."
In addition to Rice, Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Brighton maestro Moises Caicedo and Ilkay Gundogan, who could leave Manchester City as a free agent. Arteta is also believed to be in the market for defensive reinforcements and an attacker.
