Mikel Arteta has stressed the value of Arsenal having an English core after the club had four players called up to Gareth Southgate’s squad this week.
Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe were all included in the 25-man squad, who have friendlies against the Ivory Coast and Switzerland this month.
