Several New England Patriots legends were in attendance for the team’s victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Former linebacker and current Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel had an important message for Patriots fans at halftime.
Vrabel knows how special the organization is, having won three Super Bowls with the Patriots in his career. He made sure to remind fans of how lucky they were.
“I want you not to take this organization for granted,” Vrabel said. “I’ve been a lot of places. This is a special place with great leadership, great fans, great direction, great coaching. Enjoy it. It’s not like this everywhere.”
Vrabel was a cornerstone of the New England defense in the early to mid-2000s. He had 606 combined tackles in eight seasons with the Patriots. He also recorded seven receiving touchdowns during his time with the team.
The days of the dominating Super Bowl teams may seem far away with the Patriots currently sitting at 2-5. But the victory over the Bills on a day when so many legends were in attendance could provide a spark for the rest of the season.
