It’s no secret that the Tennessee Titans need help at wide receiver, which has led some to believe the team could potentially be a player for veteran wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, who was released by the Arizona Cardinals recently.
Head coach Mike Vrabel was asked about any potential interest in the star wideout, but as you’d expect he didn’t give an inch.
“I think our focus has always been about the players that we have here,” he said, per Paul Kuharsky. “We’ll keep you updated as we continue to add players to the roster.”
Some have taken this as a sign that the Titans don’t have interest in Hopkins at all, but in reality this is a typical Vrabel non-answer. He is never going to tip his hand, especially when it comes to bringing in a new player.
I certainly wouldn’t hold my breath for the Titans to sign Hopkins, but doing so would definitely add some much-needed juice to a Tennessee wide receivers room that is sorely lacking it right now.
