Mike Tyson Vs. Jake Paul Fight Rescheduled For Nov. 15

Mike Tyson speaks during a news conference promoting his upcoming boxing bout against Jake Paul, May 16, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. Tyson was recovering Monday, May 27, after suffering a medica

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson's highly anticipated fight with Jake Paul has been rescheduled for November 15 after Tyson fell ill on a flight last month. Originally set for July 20 in Arlington, Texas, the fight will now take place at AT&T Stadium and will be aired on Netflix.

Tyson experienced nausea and dizziness during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, leading to the postponement of the fight. His camp attributed the episode to an ulcer problem and stated that Tyson would need to engage in light training for several weeks. Despite the setback, Tyson, who turns 58 on June 30, expressed gratitude to the medical staff and event organizers for their support.

In a statement released by Netflix, Tyson assured fans that he would resume training shortly and confidently predicted victory over Jake Paul, stating, 'Jake Paul is getting knocked out.'

The rescheduled fight, originally planned for a Saturday, will now take place on a Friday to accommodate the Dallas Cowboys' Monday Night Football game against the Houston Texans on November 18. This adjustment ensures that both fighters have ample time to prepare and maintain the event at AT&T Stadium.

Although Tyson has not fought professionally since 2005, he has remained active in training and previously engaged in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. The upcoming showdown with Jake Paul is eagerly anticipated by fans and promises to be a thrilling event.
