Mike Tindall delights I'm A Celebrity fans as Dec jokes he's wearing Zara's bikini pants

Mike Tindall stripped off and got everyone talking on last night's update from the Australian jungle.

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! viewers got quite the eyeful when the royal campmate pranked co-star Seann Walsh by jumping out at him from underwater - revealing his 'budgie smugglers' in the process.

As fans of the ITV series joked about the former rugby player's cheeky antics, the show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly cheekily wondered what Mike's wife Zara Phillips will make of his skimpy swimwear.

"I'll tell you what did come as a shock was when Mike pulled that towel off," Ant remarked on last night show, as Mike terrified comedian Seann with his prank. "What? What about that swimwear? Wow-wee."

He went on to muse: "I wonder what Zara will be thinking about that".

Ant's co-host Dec then took the joke a little further, quipping: "I know exactly what Zara will be thinking, she will be thinking, 'That's where my bikini bottoms are, I've been looking for them'."

Dec didn't stop there with the jokes, going on to announce Mike as the leader of the celebrity camp and declaring: "He was wearing his wife's bikini bottoms under his shorts - the naughty boy."

In December 2010, Buckingham Palace announced the engagement of Mike to Zara, the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips.

The pair went on to tie the knot the following year and the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II has since given birth to three children, two daughters and a son.

Thanks to starring on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, Mike as made history as the first royal to ever appear on the ITV reality TV show - much to the delight of some fans of the show.

"Imma gonna need a clip of Mike Tindall removing that towel and going into the water in those speedos... #ImACeleb," one viewer declared on Twitter as the show aired last night.

"I’m bored, show me more of Mike Tindall in speedos #imaceleb," another quipped, as a third fan tweeted: "F***@miketindall13 in speedos… My night has been made… "

The compliments didn't stop there, with another viewer writing: "It’s not everyday you seen ex England rugby captain and Princess Anne’s son in law, Mike Tindall in his speedos on national television, but first time for everything. #ImACeleb."

Mike's stint in the jungle has the full backing of his wife, who will fly Down Under to support her husband if he makes it all the way to the final later this month.

"We have some work out here so if it got to the end then hopefully, she'd be able to come out," Mike said before heading into the jungle.

"Zara told me to go and be myself, which is all you can be. She said to go enjoy and be yourself."
