SNL has repeatedly targeted Musk in its sketches, with Myers taking on the role in previous episodes.
On Saturday, during SNL's Cold Open, James Austin Johnson's Donald Trump and Marcello Hernandez's Marco Rubio debated Musk's role in government, setting the stage for Myers' dramatic entrance.
As Musk, Myers delivered a monologue in a Dr. Evil-style voiceover, joking about ingratiating himself with Trump, plummeting Tesla stock and losing $100 billion in personal wealth—all while striking the villain's signature pinky-to-lip pose.
The sketch also satirized Trump's recent speech to Congress, highlighting his boasts about his presidency, bizarre budget claims and outlandish policy proposals, including the acquisition of Greenland and a Mars mission.
The sketch quickly went viral, with audiences praising Myers' return and his uncanny blend of Musk and Dr. Evil. Some viewers saw it as a sharp critique of Musk's growing political influence, while others simply enjoyed the nostalgic callback to "Austin Powers."
Meanwhile, Musk, who has reacted to SNL parodies in the past, has yet to publicly respond.
