The Green Bay Packers will host Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 13 for a Week 10 battle between division winners from a season ago.
The NFL announced the major NFC showdown on Wednesday. The full schedule for the 2022 season arrives on Thursday night.
The highly anticipated game will be played at 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX. McCarthy, who coached the Packers for 13 seasons and won a Super Bowl with the team in 2010, will return to Green Bay for the first time since being fired by the team during the 2018 season. He is entering his third season with the Cowboys.
The Packers have won 13 games and the NFC North each of the last three seasons. The Cowboys went 12-5 and won the NFC East during McCarthy’s second season in Dallas.
The Packers haven’t hosted the Cowboys in Green Bay since the 2016 regular season. Green Bay won each of the last three games in the series, including a playoff win with McCarthy in charge at AT&T Stadium in 2016.
Both the Packers and Cowboys were knocked out of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers last season.
McCarthy’s record with the Packers was 125-77-2. He was 10-8 in the playoffs. The Packers made the postseason nine times during his tenure, including a stretch of eight straight years between 2009 and 2016.
