Mike and Zara Tindall jet across Australia as they lap up I'm A Celeb freedom

Mike and Zara Tindall continued their Australia travels on Thursday as they decided to stay on rather then head back to the UK like the rest of their I'm A Celebrity campmates.

The royal couple were spotted at Melbourne catching a flight into Adelaide for the city's 500 motorsport race as they extended their trip.

Mike, 44, and Zara, 41, appeared to be making the most of their time together and have an action-packed schedule over the new few days as the former rugby player revealed they had planned a "whistle stop tour of Australia".

Cutting a casual figure, Zara looked effortlessly stylish in ripped denim jeans, blue jumper and a tailored Balmain jacket.

She accessorised her look with a cream Aspinal cross-body bag, shades and white trainers.

Styling her blonde locks in a low bun, Zara also carried a water bottle and duffle bag as she walked alongside Mike, who also opted for a low-key look in a white T-shirt, baseball cap and navy shorts.

The couple appeared in high spirits as they strolled through the shops in the departure terminal.

After arriving at the motorsport race, Mike and Zara beamed for a photograph.

Taking to Instagram, the rugby star said: "Next stop on the whistle stop Aus tour is Adelaide for the @adelaide500

"Have a look at the track from the inside of a corvette and also got Vanilla Mike to get the mics ready for @thekillers for Sunday night! Now time for some wine tasting I reckon!!!"

It comes after Zara vowed never to spend so much time apart from Mike again after being reunited with her husband over the weekend.

The late Queen's eldest granddaughter, 41, told Chris Moyles it was "too much" being separated from the former rugby player for so long, as she and Mike emotionally reunited after spending over three weeks apart.

British equestrian Zara also jokingly poked fun at her husband's relationship with his 'camp wife' Sue Cleaver in the jungle, and addressed the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! 2022 star's attempt to show off his rapping skills during his time on the ITV show.

Mike narrowly missed out on the final, being kicked out on the jungle on Saturday night and placing fourth overall in the competition.

On the car journey back to the hotel Mike said: "I’m sorry I had a camp wife in there (Sue), but she was brilliant.”

Zara then joked: "Cheating on me."

She went on to ask him about his rapping, saying: "You went in early with that on day 2, teed yourself up for it and that’s your repertoire gone."

As the happy couple get to their hotel room, Mike's former campmate Chris pops in with a bucket of beers and tells Zara: "I looked after him for you in there." She replies: "Did you enjoy his spooning and his hugs."

The former Radio 1 DJ then asks Zara how good it is to have him back, to which she replied: "It’s just too much, let’s never do this again."
