It's now been three weeks since Eddie Howe's men clinched a place in the Carabao Cup final, having secured a 3-1 aggregate win over Southampton to make it through for a final against Manchester United. And, now after wild celebrations at St James' Park and across the whole city when the final whistle blew on the second leg, NUFC are now just days away from their first Wembley final in 24 years.
Their last appearance at the home of English football was against Man United in the 1999 FA Cup final, when they were on the wrong end of a 2-0 score line and now Newcastle are looking to earn their first bit of major silverware in over five decades this weekend.
