Miguel Almiron will be trying to achieve something he has only managed once for Newcastle United this weekend when the Magpies take on Brentford at home.
The Paraguay skipper has only managed to score in back to back games once in the Premier League, when he netted in the 4-1 win away to Bournemouth and the 2-2 draw at home to West Ham during the lockdown in 2020. Almiron did manage a three game scoring spell earlier that year but that trio of games included two FA Cup ties against Rochdale.
Eddie Howe knows that the playmaker will be judged by media and fans on one thing but wanted to underline his other attritbutes.

Howe said: "He will be judged in lots of different ways Miggy, because he's not just a creative player. He is an absolute workhorse for us. He does so much out of possession, so much good work and unseen good work that benefits the team.
"But ultimately as an attacking player - he will be judged on goals, assists and product. So to come away with two goals away from home, a long range goal and tap in is a great thing for him to take from Fulham."
Howe says that he does not need to treat Almiron as a special case when it comes to unlocking his best form. And insisted he works with all his stars to get the best from them.
Howe said: "We try to work hard with every player, to analyse their games and try to give them a focus and an area to improve and develop. Miggy would be no different to any of our players in that respect.
"It’s about us, as a team, getting into good areas and then putting balls into really dangerous areas, and then filling those areas with players. It sounds simple, but it’s quite difficult to deliver, but Miggy has done that here and hopefully, it’s a really good start for him."
