Taylor Swift fans rejoice: two versions of Midnights were released at midnight on Friday, October 21, with the 3 am version including surprise bonus tracks.
Naturally, the album trended on Twitter, under #MidnightsTaylorSwift, within hours of its release.
Taylor has also already teased video content for several of the songs but there’s no word yet on when we can expect to see them in full. Until then, we’ll just have to listen to Midnights on repeat.
UK fans who pre-ordered the album before 5 am on October 21 will be eligible for pre-sale for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour. It’s possible this tour will cover several albums, including Midnights, folklore, evermore, and the two re-releases of older albums.
So far, fan reactions to the new album have been overwhelmingly positive.
People are already finding connections between the new music and past lyrics. Taylor is known for doing callbacks to previous songs and hiding easter eggs for fans.

Seeing as Taylor is well-known for writing about her personal experiences and life, long-term fans of the songwriter are happy to see more positive lyrics show up, particularly after the re-release of the heartbreak songs from Red.
