If spending the day with hundreds of adorable dogs sounds like your idea of heaven, we’ve got you covered.
Coming to Vogrie Country Park in Gorebridge, the Dachshund Festival is set to bring shopping, food and drink, and health and well-being for our four legged friends. If you don’t have a Dachshund, not to worry - this event doesn’t discriminate, all are welcome.
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £6 per person while furry ones and kids go free.

Ahead of the event, organisers said: “We are delighted to bring you this fun day.
“You and your Dachshund will love it. We don’t discriminate, so bring all your other furry friends too.
“There will be lots of shopping, food and drink as well as advice on your Dachshunds' health and well-being. There will be lots of activities for your Dachshund to enjoy.
“So, come and try parkour, seek some training advice from the expert, or just mingle. It’s going to be a busy day so why not grab your ticket now before the event is sold out.”
Exhibitors at the event will include Ruff Raggies, who make playful and interactive toys for your loyal companion. Also on hand will be Freckles Designs, who make designer dog coats and cooling vests.
Boutique dog clothing stores, dog treat makers, training services, photography companies, and much more will be setting up shop on the day. For humans, there will be plenty of food options and some gifting stalls.
