A property in Midlothian was broken into and set on fire as police in the area have launched a public appeal.
Officers are asking for anyone who may have information regarding the incident which occurred on Wednesday, October 5, on Edmonston Road, Danderhall, to come forward.
They say a property within the area was accessed between 9.45pm and 10pm and set alight, causing damage within.

Officers are looking for any potential witnesses and requesting the public check CCTV or dash cam footage in the surrounding area.
Police Scotland added: "If anyone has any helpful information, please get in touch quoting Incident 3768 05/10/2022."
