Da Vinci rapist Robert Greens was allegedly attacked by the family of his ex-wife after they discovered him hiding in a cupboard in her home on Friday.
After being released from prison last year, locals in Midlothian were enraged to find the sex offender living among them once again and staged various protests prompting both the police and council to have him re-housed.
The 44-year-old is said to have grown close to his former wife Angela Gibson since his release, but relatives were fuming when they found him in her Penicuik home on Friday night, January 7, before a 'fight broke out'.
