A construction worker was rushed to hospital in Edinburgh following an 'accident' at a site in Midlothian.
Emergency services raced to the scene in on Greenhall Road, Gorebridge just after 1pm on Thursday, November 3, after being alerted to the incident.
Police say a 31-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Infirmary for treatment and it is understood that a health and safety enquiry into the incident will now take place, as the Record reports.

No further information regarding the man's injuries were given at the time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.15pm on Thursday, 3 November, 2022, police received a report of an industrial accident at a building site on Greenhall Road, Gorebridge.
"A 31-year-old man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
"The Health and Safety Executive have been made aware and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
A Persimmon Homes spokesperson said: "We are aware of an accident that occurred on one of our developments yesterday afternoon and are working with the relevant contractor to ensure the authorities are fully supported with their investigations.
"Our thoughts are with the injured person and we wish them a full and speedy recovery."
