The Iowa Hawkeyes did not have a very good time in Lincoln, Nebraska. Caitlin Clark didn’t break the scoring record, and the Hawkeyes lost to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Then, mics picked up Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder’s expletive-filled postgame rant about media availability.
Things started out really well for Iowa. Caitlin Clark was rocking the “Mambacita” Kobe 6s, and she was up to 31 points heading into the fourth quarter against Nebraska. That’s when things shifted. Nebraska began keeping pace with Iowa’s scoring and then they shut down Clark, holding her scoreless the entire quarter.
As things got really close, Jaz Shelley unleashed a bucket for the ages (with a cold-blooded John Cena celebration) that pushed Nebraska out in front. Iowa never recovered, and the fans stormed the court following the upset of the country’s No. 2. ranked team. Following that stunning moment, Nebraska was in the middle of answering questions with the media when mics caught Iowa’s Lisa Bluder seemingly ranting over how things unfolded.

Here's the audio from my external microphone during today's press conference. As Alexis Markowski was answering a question, you can hear Lisa Bluder trying to get into the media room, saying, "this is bullshit, this is not Big Ten protocol… they play music while you shoot free… pic.twitter.com/f34ttfmYoM

According to several media members on-site, Bluder was unhappy with Nebraska taking media availability first.
Nebraska players first up in the postgame presser, and LIsa Bluder is not happy with that out in the hallway. Interrupts things a little bit.

"This is bullshit"
"This is not Big Ten protocol"

Since we’re doing this… Iowa didn’t show up to postgame until after the Nebraska’s court celebration was over. Nebraska’s SID told the entire room that “this could be disjointed” and that Iowa would be given the room when they showed up.
Then Lisa Bluder lost her mind. https://t.co/5DloefhEHJ
