The Jets had their three-game winning streak come to an ugly end Monday night when they lost at home to the Chargers, 27-6.
Zach Wilson and the offense never found the end zone, which didn’t impress ESPN analyst Troy Aikman at all, as he lit into Wilson during the team’s final drive and again during the postgame show.
The Jets, of course, have been without Aaron Rodgers since he tore his right Achilles tendon four plays into their season opener. He was seen moving around pretty well before Monday night’s game. After the final whistle mics picked up Rodgers telling Chargers safety Derwin James that he’ll be back in “a few weeks.”

Rodgers responded, “A few weeks.” pic.twitter.com/R4jMNSLQ6E
Rodgers might have been just goofing around, but it has been impressive to see how far he’s already come in his recovery.
UPDATE: Rodgers told Pat McAfee on Tuesday afternoon that he was just goofing around:
Aaron Rodgers said on @PatMcAfeeShow that he didn't realize the conversation with Derwin James was being recorded and that it was more of him being "tongue in cheek."

Rodgers: "It would be nice to come back in a couple of weeks, but that's probably unrealistic." https://t.co/sgDYTBoNgc
Jets fans, though, probably wish he’d be back this coming Sunday when they travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders. Kickoff between the Jets (4-4) and Raiders (4-5) is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.
