Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) was a beneficiary of a hit box office movie earlier this year, with "A Minecraft Movie" being one of the highest-grossing video game adaptations of all time. The tech giant hopes to have another box office smash through its new partnership with Paramount Skydance (NASDAQ:PSKY).
