Alex Pereira’s path of destruction through the light heavyweight division continued Saturday when he logged a second title defense in the UFC 303 against Jiri Prochazka.
Pereira (11-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) scored a blistering second-round TKO of Prochazka (30-5-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC) in their main event rematch at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and he’s now cleared out the majority of the top five at 205 pounds.
There’s a glaring name in the rankings Pereira has yet to fight in his division, but there’s also the growing intrigue of a move up to heavyweight.
