Mick Jagger celebrated his birthday with partner Melanie Hamrick and his son Lucas Jagger whilst on tour in Europe, enjoying a "very surprising night" of dancing and festivies.
The singer, now 79, is touring with the Rolling Stones at the moment - with the band performing in several different countries to mark the 60th anniversary of their formation.
The Sixty tour will see them take to the stage of the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, tonight - with Mick having celebrated his birthday last night in nearby city Dusseldorf.
Photos from the festivities were posted on Instagram yesterday by both Mick and his son Lucas, 22 - who the performer shares with former model Luciana Gimenez, 52.
Mick shared a photo of himself surrounded by dancers wearing traditional garments, writing: "Thank you for all your birthday wishes. Had a great one here in Dusseldorf."
Lucas - who is one of the youngest of Mick's eight children - shared a similar photo which showed him perched on his father's knee, with the same dancers stood around them.
He wrote in the caption the post: "Happy birthday Dadda." Lucas also commented on his father' post on the platform, with him writing in response: "A very surprising night."

A further insight into the family's celebrations came from Mick's partner Melanie, 35 - with whom the Rolling Stones vocalist shares his youngest child, Deveraux Jagger, five.
She shared footage showing the dancers performing as part of the festivities, with her writing in the caption: "Fun birthday celebrations for my favourite person in the world."
Mick's post amassed more than 35,000 likes on the social media platform, with a number of his followers taking to the comments section to share well-wishes on his birthday.
As well as Lucas and Deveraux, the musician also has six other children, including models Elizabeth Jagger, 38, and Georgia May Jagger, 30, - who he had with Jerry Hall, 65.
The Rolling Stones have already performed in countries including France, Austria, Belgium and the UK as part of their Sixty tour - which will head to Sweden later this week.
The band formed back in 1962 and have enjoyed much success since their debut, including winning a number of accolades over the years, such as several Grammy Awards.
